Abstract
Political consciousness education, in general, and the education of political consciousness for vocational college students, in particular, play a crucial role in equipping students with a scientific worldview and methodology, building a revolutionary outlook on life and ideals, and reinforcing students' trust in the Party’s leadership in the country’s renewal process. The article emphasizes the significance of political consciousness education for vocational college students in Vietnam, especially in the context of the country's ongoing industrialization and modernization. The author discusses the theoretical foundations of political consciousness, which involves understanding the ideological principles of Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh Thought, and the Party's guidelines. The article stems from solutions to improving political awareness education, including modernizing curricula, enhancing teachers' qualifications, investing in facilities, and fostering self-education among students. The political education of vocational college students is presented as vital for ensuring they are not only skilled workers but also active, responsible citizens contributing to the success of the socialist revolution.
